artist, writer & resource mobilizer
My work in philanthropy lives at the intersection of network analysis, relationship cultivation, and collaborative grantmaking. I have authored several reports on authoritarianism and have raised and distributed over $20 million to community-based organizations fighting for gender, racial, climate, and economic justice, bodily autonomy, an end to policing, and the right to self-determination.
I am the granddaughter of generations of migrant farmers. I grew up as an immigrant in Canada after my family left Texas. When I am not writing about the forces that made us leave home, you can find me painting or thrifting for furniture with friends in Brooklyn.
